On Ohlone Land, I Respect the Humans and the Air

On Native land, I honor my ancestors by giving them the food
and the drink they need in the wild.
On Ohlone land, I care for my ancestors, my home, the animals,
the river, the trees, and my school by picking up trash.
On Native land, I listen to the birds, the rivers, the air, and it
makes me feel happy.
On Ohlone land, I give thanks to the water, the birds, and the
animals.
On Native land, I will protect the animals by protecting their
homes.
On Ohlone land, I remember when I first came to San Francisco.
On Native land, I hope that an earthquake will never happen.
To me, Indigenous people are people who care about our land
and our future.
