On Ohlone Land, I Respect the Humans and the Air

On Native land, I honor my ancestors by giving them the food

and the drink they need in the wild.

On Ohlone land, I care for my ancestors, my home, the animals,

the river, the trees, and my school by picking up trash.

On Native land, I listen to the birds, the rivers, the air, and it

makes me feel happy.

On Ohlone land, I give thanks to the water, the birds, and the

animals.

On Native land, I will protect the animals by protecting their

homes.

On Ohlone land, I remember when I first came to San Francisco.

On Native land, I hope that an earthquake will never happen.

To me, Indigenous people are people who care about our land

and our future.
